completely disappeared!

I was tentatively messaging a newbie when they disappeared!Dont scorn,its happened in the past and any messages sent/received used to say Unlos in brackets were the username used to be!This time nothing!Completely disappeared.Am I being daft?How does this happen?

Sometimes when a person deletes their profile every trace of them disappears as well, their messages both sent and received go instead of saying UNLOS as they used to.
