The watermarks are more for official website ones as the pics have to be original images
The self added watermarks via an app are fine as they are still the original image x |

From what I've seen, text or User's names seem to be OK.
The rule seems to be pretty specifically about web site watermarks:
"No watermarks. Photo can't be watermarked. If your photo is watermarked either by this site or another site, it will be rejected. We can only accept original photos."
