Hiding some friends updates

Hi,

I'd like to not receive updates from some friends. I know I could unfriend them but I don't want to do that, I just don't want to see the bilge they post daily.

Is there a way to do this? I have searched but can't find anything.

Not as far as I'm aware.

You either have to put up with the bilge or remove them as friends.

If you can't stand what your friends put up,then they're not really your friends?

. Of it gets to you to the point you don't want to see it. I only have friends who i actually see as a friend and not just in the fab sense. Maybe try only having people you would seriously class as a friend?
