How come the moderators have closed our previous thread about our cam problem with no explanation?
I can understand if it's an issue already covered with a posted fix, however it's not a flash problem or hardware issue.
Help would be appreciated? |

Thats what happens,
Explorer works for us, but all the fixes mentioned dont for chrome etc.
Fab are running old software, it needs updating.
someone will close thread but that is not solving the problem. |

It's really frustrating. It's 100% not a flash issue, it's simply the fab website not seeing a cam, the select cam box is empty. Spent hours searching for a fix.

There are multiple threads in the chat forum discussing cam issues.
If you're using Chrome or a browser based on it, it's been reported that Google recently removed support for web cams on non-https web pages (although I can't find any evidence of this in the Chrome changelogs). One way to get round the issue seems to be to roll back to a previous version of browser and then turn off auto-updates.
IE, Edge and Firefox seem to be still working. |
