If it's on your phone go to general then reset you can reset location services do that then log on to fab and it should ask for your location I had the same problem but that fixes it |

How do you know they are on the other side of the country? Are you looking at the location that they have stated on their profile? Who's near works from the location that their phone passes to Fab.
