I had this on another site I don't know if it would help any but I spoke to owners and after my informing them why they removed it . Some sites are different that you can't remove it's only the other user that may do so .
In that try talking to Owner / Owners of the site putting over your reason/s why .
Good luck .

What's wrong with just deleting it from your profile on the 'manage verifications' page? Ok it will still be showing to you (if you look at it), but not to anyone else. |

"What's wrong with just deleting it from your profile on the 'manage verifications' page? Ok it will still be showing to you (if you look at it), but not to anyone else." That's ok for taking one off YOUR profile, but I think the OP wants to have one removed from someone else's profile.

"no i dont regret writing them just upset at the way im being treated now by the person i done them for ........ "
At the risk of stating the bleeding obvious, have you tried asking that person to remove the verification? Ask them nicely explaining why you want it removed. Ask a couple of times if need be. Then, if they won't do, it you'll be in a stronger position when you ask for admin help.
Good luck. |

Then in that case you have every right to ask forum admin to intervene on your behalf. |

Can't you 'encourage' the recipient to remove them voluntarily? It seems the decent thing for the recipient to do. |

Talking of verifactions, once we verify someone, who does the verifaction go to, is it the member direct, admin, or the moderators?
Also, is the member asked to accept or decline the verifaction, or is it just posted on the members profile? |

It tells you on you account that you have a verification, its up to you if you want to display it on your profile or not
You have the option to delete it if you want |

OK, thanks for the information, maybe they will, maybe they won't post we've been verified, we'll have to wait and see I guess. |

They may not be able to remove it for you, but I know that any admin worth his salt can threaten. ie, "Please remove the verification for miss smith from your account.Failure to do so will result in us deleting your whole account and placing a site ban on you."
This sort of threat usually gets peoples attention. Whether the admin would wish to go that far is another matter |

"i wish to do this as well but thay have
put a block on me
so i cant mail them now ????
can thay still see my profile ????
which i dont wish them to do ?????"
If they have blocked you hun neither of you can see each others profile.
I have blocked someone and saw them via the search option, wondered if it was the same people, it was and it told me I had blocked them so couldnt see the profile.
Hope this helps.

"but if thay unblock me can thay see my profile then block me again ?????
as i can not block them now
when i put new pics up i dont wish them to see them"
if you go into your block list on the left hand side you can write their username in it and they should then be blocked from you side.

had this sent to me and it works
go into "BLOCK LIST" which is on the left hand side of your screen, it will show anyone you have blocked, when youre on that page just above you can actually type in the user name of the person you want to block, so, even if they have you blocked and want to unblock you, hassle you then block you again, well they wont be able to as you have blocked them from your side. They will then appear in your block list. |
