Hi there i tried to create a new profile as wanted to change my username and would not allow me to do anything even search until i photo verified.is this now a requirement for all new sign ups? |

It is if you have multiple accounts on the same ip address it seems. |

hi 
i had to do photo verify before doing anything as well, had deleted my other profiles but i think coz i used the same email that was why.
thought someone had nicked your name when i saw this. |

It's to do with multiple accounts on the same ip/email address. I've just had to do one for that reason on my new events profile
It can also be because you've been naughty in some way in the past on a previous account so your account is kinda red flagged by it and can't be activated into PV is completed. I know this because my ex bitches about it a lot but if he didn't keep continually making accounts to bother/abuse me it would be no issue
If you just want to change your username if you pay the fiver to upgrade you'll be able to then change it |

There are reasons why some people have to PV on registering. Admin have never said exactly why and probably never will or people will get round what is in place, so please don't take too much notice of any comments above.
