I have created a 'slides' website that o wish to email too people I'm interested in. Am I allowed to post the link in a message.

Also the website has upcoming events on that I wish to promote through the events page,message and my profile. Are we allowed to do this?

yeah you can you put it in the meet me part and put your website in profile hope this helps

I don't know what sort of web site the OP is referring to, but it's unlikely that they'll be allowed to advertise it on their profile.
