I've had a look through the Forums and can't find any help on this. I've not logged on for a while. I've logged on today and all my messages have gone! I know I didn't delete them because there were certain ones I wanted to keep and any with phone numbers in I keep just in case I lose them on my mobile - which is what has happened.

Can anyone tell me why they have gone? I think it's poor drills.

Not a happy Wench!

If you don't login for a while system clears messages. This is because hundreds of thousands of mails are exchanged each day and we have many millions on the system; this is costly in terms of £££ and technology to manage this. So the system has to make decisions about what messages to keep and what to remove, and those from dormant accounts are removed after a certain period.

If you saved any messages while a site supporter those will still exist in your saved message folder.

Gutted :o( I didn't save them as I didn't get chance (too busy having surgery). I'll have to work out a way to get back in touch with people - just need to try and remember their screen names. I really should have added all as friends.

I'll be doing all that from now on.

Thanks for the help though.
