Where has everybody's friend's list gone?

Also, how do you make a friend's request on the mobile site?

Profiles can choose not to display their friends list.

To invite as friends on mobile - top right of their profile is the menu button, 3 horizontal lines, it's in there.

Friends list doesn't appear on the mobile site whether private or not

Click menu when your on the persons profile then the friends request is there
