are those filters only meant to prevent messages? or are they also meant to block winks?
only ask as we have TV/TS blocked (and just checked the block is still in place) yet we received a wink from one earlier today  |

It's meant to stop all contact from those filtered.
Taken from filter page:
The filters don't apply and still people can message you if you...
Have mailed someone before (so if you mail someone you have otherwise filtered, they can reply)
Winked at someone (because if you wink we figure they should be able to reply)
Have them as a friend (because that makes sense)
