Hi,
So a thread closes automatically once it gets to 175 posts.
There have been times when I've been writing a post to find that when I clicked post message it wouldn't post because the thread (open when I started typing) had closed as it was too large.
Just now I was the last poster on a thread in Politics, it was open, I typed my post, clicked post message and, bingo, there it was, last post, me! 175, thread closed, too large. I was proper pleased!
Then a few minutes later someone else has posted, it's on 176. Gutted I am!
But more to the point, how does that work then? |

"They will have been writing as it got to the limit so it lets it through"
Well, that's what I thought at first. But then the thread has reached 179 and one appears to be a reply to 178! So must have been started after. To be fair, can't be certain it is.
Then, also, when I've been already typing in the past it has refused to post. |
