Hi,
Anyone know why the count of people who looked at me goes down as well as up?
For instance, today I had the dizzy total of 8 who'd looked at me, then it went down to 7 and now it's back up to 8.
Any ideas? |

"Somebody may have looked, changed their viewing to stealth mode, and then removed stealth mode maybe?"
Now that would work, although last bit is unlikely, simply be another person looking. |

I understand this, but (although each to their own of course), I don't get why people would look at a profile unsolicited and then block. Mind you, could be they don't like my views in Politics,  , I do block for that reason! |

I understand this, but (although each to their own of course), I don't get why people would look at a profile unsolicited and then block. Mind you, could be they don't like my views in Politics, , I do block for that reason!"
Local updates / forums / accidently / Just from the who's online allsorts why people may look.
Most of my locals are on my blocked list, people moaning about the site get blocked and people asking to be sucked off. You'll never know how someone else use's the tools given them. |

"The "looked at me" count is a running 24hr thing it changes each hour showing the previous 24hrs so the count will go up and down depending when people looked at you  "

I did have one on show for the first year but same thing but today I've had 4 views but no and to messages lol cut off age in my area seems to be 45 which also could explain it |

Many people look in stealth mode so you'll never really know how many do. Yes Fab is a numbers game particularly for single males, but does it really matter how many look at you, what you want is people to message & ultimately meet?
We as supporters have the who's looked at us feature but sometimes wished we didn't. We often wink or message repeat lookers & then get really wound up when they don't respond, it's stupid we know!!
We have no control how many views we get, although funny status's, a good avatar photo & uploading new photos regularly, does generate more views we've proved that. Does that improve our chances of getting a new meet, in theory yes but in reality no! |

It doesn't matter really how many look at me, no.
Being a bit of a techy geek I was, however, wondering why the number could go down. As simple as that. |
