Hi all I just got a msg on my personal Facebook page fro some1 saying they saw my profile on here  ....how is that possible, would it be via my email address? If so is there any way to make my email address invisible?
I've played with the privacy settings and made myself invisible to search engines, would that be enough to prevent this from happening again?Thanks in advance  |

OP have you given your phone number out to anyone on here and gone on WhatsApp with them? If so you will come up on their news feed as "people you may know" |

As above have you given out your phone number. Whataapp is linked to fb and if you have contacts on whatsapp they can show up on the people you may know on fb.
It alternatively can your face pics on here be publically seen on Facebook?it's easy to reverse image search pics and if they are in the net already it may show up that way. |

Reverse image searches could well be an issue
Ditto if you have given out you 'main' mobile number or used one of the messager services ... which is one of the reasons anyone getting a phone number from me will be getting a number which is only used on here and other sites of a similar nature ... |

If that's the way, then you should go on Facebook settings and opt out of people finding you with your number |
