Hot photos - is there a 'qualifying period'?

Someone I know has opened a new fab account. Though she's verified and has the qualifying number of fabs on her photo in the first few hours of posting - her pic hasn't appeared on hot photos.

Does anyone know why this would be?

Do you have to be on fab a certain number of days/weeks to be on hot photos?

I know the profile has to be at least a week old to get in hot pics, not sure if it is longer than that.

it says only verified members as well, so i'm guessing until they get verified after that 'new' period then they won't get in either?
