when i click on friends invites (say for example there are 2) i click on the number but when the page appears there's nothing there as if they've deleted themselves. This also happens when i click on the friends invites on the menu on left of my home page.

Can happen if:
User invites you then leaves site
User has invited you already, you rejected, then tries again; notification generated but friends request correctly not sent a 2nd time (this is a bug)

Thank-you for your response. I think there's some sort of problem as I've only recently joined and it's done it from day one. The winks part is ok. I just click on the number and the winks appear but on the friends invites they just aren't there after I click on the number of invites in order to view them. |

We've looked into this in some detail and discovered another condition.
If the user sees your friend request but accepts it not via the friend request page by clicking accept but adds you as a friend from your profile, they are correctly added as a mutual friend but incorrectly a new "friend notification" email is generated.
So no friend requests are going missing, but friend notification emails are being incorrectly raised in 3 different conditions. We'll look at fixing this very shortly.
