Top right hand of home page - change to Ireland.

Amend your address details on your MY ACCOUNT page.

Simples

Have done this myself too. Seems that without being able to update the postcode it's showing me as 300 miles away from other people in Dublin. Not exactly a major issue but would be nice to get that fixed on my profile. Did you have any luck solving it?

Top right hand of home page, drop down menu, change to Ireland and save. Shoul sort it for you.

Unfortunately didn't seem to have any impact. I managed to change my profile information.

When I moved to the UK I had no issue so I'm guessing that the postcode is still populated somewhere in the underlying data for my profile but the box won't appear when I'm in Ireland

That is because this site does not use the Irish postcodes that only started this year

Warrington & Glasgow

I don't think it's as simple as that!

I live in NW UK. I have my UK Postcode entered in my profile. If I check the profile of a friend who lives near me, who also have their postcode entered, it tells me we are within 10 miles of each other. Correct so far.

If I change my Country to Ireland and my Region to Dublin, log out & in again, it still tells me that I'm within 10 miles of my friend. So, as far as I can tell it is still using my UK Postcode to calculate the distance. With my Country set to Ireland, the Postcode field is hidden, so I can't remove it. With my Country set to UK, I can't save an empty Postcode, so I can't remove it.

Other feature's like Meets & Events and Local Updates seem to work OK.

... Amusingly, having tried that experiment, I'm now stuck with Dublin as my Region, since I can't clear the Region field with Country as Ireland, and the field disappears when I change Country back to UK!

Try using RoI in the postcode field, that used to work with other sites/databases.

Thanks for the help but doesn't seem to be a way for us to work around it ourselves here.

Just going to have to set it to whatever postcode Newry is - at least it will drop the distance down a bit
