For some reason I can't select from the drop down menus on my iPhone but it's ok on my iPad, both running latest update iOS 9.3.5

Problem is isolated to the fab mobile site, wonder if you're able to help?? Or does anybody else have this problem?

Where on the site are the drop down menus you are having problems with?

Hiya

It's the menus on the advanced search page for example, things like the distance from search location.

Same problem occurs throughout the site so things like new pics, hottest pics - choosing the option for which pics to look at e.g. MF couples, F, TV/TS etc...

It's all drop down menus - I can access the options but can't select them.

Other sites are fine and it's only been an issue on fab mobile since I upgraded iOS... X

Understood

Two questions:

Are you using the default Safari browser or something else?

Have you tried turning your phone off, then on again?

Yep tried turning phone off and on again. Site works on standard Safari which reports version as "Safari 9".

I'm using a private browsing app which reports browser version as "Mobile Safari UIWebView".

Problem is isolated to this application and the fab website alone, so guessing there might be an issue with the site code and how it is interpreted by the Mobile Safari UIWebView protocol...

I've attempted to contact the app designer but their response is that it may be a web coding issue.

Either way it's frustrating as the site has always worked perfectly prior to the iOS 9.3.5 upgrade. Xx

Similar solution on this page re $.mobile.hashListeningEnabled = false;

All symptoms described seem to indicate the script code as described in link above and in previous post, should rectify the menu selection problem...

Sounds like your best bet is to use Safari.
