Messages? What are these messages you speak of?! 
Do you use the mobile version? Clicking the bin icon should sort it. If not, I don't know what to suggest. Maybe contact the site admins for help/advice!

No icon there in the mail messages.
Each message in the thread just has a Save button ( which does not work unless you pay for site membership).
Still can't delete messages in a mail thread |

I still have the ability to delete message by message and not the entire message thread so either there is a glitch or something |
