You can still block a user even if their profile is hidden or they have you blocked.
Locate their profile and when it says you may not view this profile for whatever reason, in the options on the left it will give you the option to block user. |

Sometimes admin block users from being able to see others profiles at all. If you had reported the user for example. In that case they wouldn't show up on your block list |

Go to your MY ACCOUNT page. On the menu is a link for BLOCK LIST. When you click on that, it takes you to your list of those you have blocked. There is an entry box where you can type in the name of a profile - click on BLOCK - and they will no longer be able to view/contact you after that. |

"If you had verified them and subsequently get blocked or block them can your verification still be shown?"
No, if you have verified and then blocked the verification disappears but if you unblock them then it reappears and the same the other way round  |
