"Can people we have blocked see us in chat?"

It depends on whether you are in new or old chat

In the new rooms the block will be 2 way e.g. if only one person blocks the other then both parties can't see each other's chat (same for a 2-way block obviously).

But in the old rooms (userplane) if you block someone then you can't see what they type but they still see what you type and vice-versa if it was them that blocked you.

Both parties have to have blocked each other for it to be a 2-way block in the old chatrooms.
