Hello.
I have blocked someone a long time ago but I think my block list only goes back to a certain date or displays a certain amount of people.
My question is: how do I unblock someone that I cannot access through my block list?

They're definitely still on the site. We had met a couple of years ago at a party, then blocked each other (or me him etc) on here, and now we met again by chance at a party. When we tried to find each other online, we realised (or, in my case, remembered  ) that there was a block in place.
To be honest, I've encountered this issue before which why I concluded that the block list view is limited by certain parameters  |

If *he* blocked you, then he won't show on *your* list. |

He doesn't show on my list and I don't show in his. We exchanged numbers this time at the party and we were talking on the phone while trying to find each others profile online. He definitely doesn't show on my list and when doing a name search neither him nor me were getting a result. I then asked him to go to another profile, where I'd left a verification, and see whether he could see that vetification and possibly click on my username there. When he did though, he got the message that "you cannot view this profile because this user has blocked you or you blocked them...etc".
Frustrating!!!

I'm sure if you block each other you no longer show in each others block lists. I blocked someone ages ago, saw a awhile after he was no longer on my list and thought he'd left the site, but I now see him from time to time in the forums |

I assume so but admin may be able to undo one of your blocks?? |

I have people on my block list who I know have blocked me, I can see them,unblock them but I can not see their profile as I'm on their block list.

You both know each others user names.
So give this a try..
Go into your block list..
Type in to the box the user name..
Click on 'block' (I think it says that)
Hopefully they will add (again) to the top of your list..
Then remove block...
Im not 100% if this will work.. |

If you have blocked someone, when you try to search for their username, you get the "sorry no results" message. Therefore the above is not possible.

This does really work on the desktop site.
I can't see the same option for the (android) mobile site. But you can go to desktop site on your mobile! |

if1coud got in touch privately and we discovered that the menus/options are different for the mobile/desktop site. I'm using the mobile site and there's no option to search for a name while on the block list menu, which means I'll have to try the desktop site instead  |
