So I've set my profile so that I don't come up on "Who has looked at me". Yet I still get messages from the people I've looked at. Is this a feature for Gold site supporters that they can see who's looked at them regardless of the settings? Is it a glitch?
It's a bit annoying as I do message if I am interested. And don't if I'm not. Not a huge disaster though. |

I thought it was just me it didn't work for. Seems there's an issue on the mobile site then.
I do get messages from people who see I've looked at them, it might sounds harsh but I just don't reply if I'm not interested. Most people won't message again. |

There's a really high correlation between viewing a profile and them viewing you usually time online location etc.
If you opt out of showing on looked @ me you never show.

I think the likelihood is increased because people who are online always show at the top of any search results. Recently online people often also update their status or do an action that puts them in the local updates feed. |

I understand that can sometimes be worked out from the local updates bit, but it's mostly people not local like other's it's kind of freaky if you go to look at someone on your say looked at me page so they end looking at you again at the same sort of time. |
