Turn off who's near?

How do I turn off who's near?

I used to ensure I hit back and turn off the option but forgot to and now my who's near is always on!

Help please!

So I worked out something interesting which is the US and UK home pages are different.

I had to go into the search page and switch my search location to UK, then go back to the homepage and the option to turn it off was there.

It wasn't there on the US homepage.
