Random friends invites

Every morning I check my updates timeline and 2 or 3 people have accepted friends invitations I've sent them. Only I haven't sent any. It's happening most days for a few months now. My account is secure I think. I change my password regularly. It's not that I can accidentally click to send an invite while scrolling. The people I'm inviting, I've never spoken to or been on their profile.

Any ideas?

I think it is just a site glitch.

I have had notifications that a friend request has been accepted, but that profile has been my friend for years.

i wonder if, when a certain amount of friends invite themselves, they just get added as friends?

i only accept invites from guys i've met or intend on meeting, or love chatting to so there's not many on my list. also, no way would i get confused about who i added.

I'm getting totally racked off with people accepting freind invites that I have not sent. Especially when they have accepted one which was apparently sent when I've been offline for days on end. F F S you damned site techs, GET THIS CRAP SORTED PLEASE.

It would be nice if you could only send a friend request after you have had a reply from that particular person therefore stopping all the random requests people send without any prior communication.

This happens If they delete you by mistake, then add you again.

No they are random people. Never communicated with them or seen their profile. It just shows up on my timeline that xxxxxx has accepted your friends request.
