This is a purely technical question, not a question about people's behaviour.
If we send some one a message, and they delete it without reading - what does it show up as in our sent messages?
By this I mean does it stay as unread, or deleted?
Again this isn't a 'why do people delete without replying' thread. |

You Dont Need to Know, right now |
I think if it has been deleted, it shows as 'deleted', regardless of whether or not it had been read before it was deleted.
I have never had a 'read and deleted' or 'unread and deleted' in my sent items. They all just say 'deleted'. |

The message would be yellow if not read and white if read (that's how you could tell if it had been read or not) but the thing at the side would say deleted.
I just looked in my sent box and everything is white so not sure if they changed this? Could just be that everyone i was talking to has read the messages also. |

It is as Affectionate Bitch said
If the message is yellow with the word 'deleted' next to it then the message is unread and deleted.
If the message is white with the word 'deleted' then it was read before being deleted.
If it is yellow with the word 'unread' next to it then it is still in their in box but may or may not have been read, you can mark a message as 'unread' after you have looked at it and it will show yellow in the sent message box. |

This, though no idea why people so bothered about sent box, if theres no reply the person/s not interested, so to me its not that important if read/unread, deleted/not deleted, a reply if received is all that matters |
