Verifying a couples profile

Hi, I have a couples profile with my female FB. We are trying to get photo verified in order to post a meet. However we don't always get to meet each other. Can we both take individual photos holding a piece of paper verifying our profile name, instead of taking a joint pic? At least until we manage to meet up together where we can take a joint photo?
