How long does someone remain a newbie?
Ive got my filters set not to receive email from newbies yet this morimging I received an email from someone who's only been in the site a week?
Can admin clarify how long someone remains a newbie for before being able to mail someone with filters set to no newbies? |

I think it is a week, but then I have it so they also have to be verified and have public pics which helps as an extra filter on newbies too as they don't always do this. |

A week isn't very long I think it should be a bit longer than that.

I agree....at least 10 years and over 100 verifications before they are no longer classed has a newbie  |

You can't do anything much on this site while a newbie, I made this profile, upgraded it hoping to be able to use everything and couldn't. Gets boring, no wonder some people leave in less than a week.
If you got some idiot making new profiles to contact you they could potentially get round being a newbie easily anyway. |

Goodness thats even less time than I thought .
I would like to see this maybe changed to at least a month.
5 days is no time at all and at least after a month if your watching a profile you can get a sense of what that person is like before making contact or them being able to contact you.
far to many profiles are gone within a few days so if they are genuinely here to swing they would still be around for a bit longer .  |
