Hello folks,

I recently upgraded to windows 10 from 8 and now cannot start my usb cam.

I have the latest flash software installed from adobe so it's not that.

I have tried reinstalling the cam and even downloaded firefox and google chrome but they are both the same. In fact firefox won;

't even let me vstart up my built in cam......Any ideas or do i need to buy a new cam/If so any recommendations?

Cheers

I upgraded too and my usb cam is a logitech pro,win10 wont enable the software even though logitechs site says it's compatable,it's working but only with the generic uvc drivers,so no controls just a plain and simple cam,no extra functions,apparently windows are aware of the problem so I would imagine a solution will be available as a patch soonish...

its an issue with flash... do the below

You can turn off Flash protected mode by following these steps:

Click on the menu button followed by Add-ons.

Click on the Plugins panel and select Options next to Shockwave Flash.

Remove the check mark next to Enable Adobe Flash protected mode.

Close Firefox completely, so that the change can take effect.

When you reopen Firefox, Flash protected mode will be disabled.
