Ok. I thought it was removed after it was read as that's what it says next to the box and was there for added privacy  Perhaps you should change the wording so everyone is aware?

As a site supporter I can delete the pic from the message anytime. So I give them a look then delete it xx |

That's not the point. I want them to see it, but I don't want them having it long enough to keep it, so I remove the pic after they've seen it xx"
Same!!! I sent a couple of face pics for face pic Friday then decided to clear out my sent messages. Even though they were read I was surprised to see my pic still there. Hence sending this query....it needs sorting out really |

It annoys me when a face pic vanishes. Most days i have several people i want to reply to so i keep the message to reply later. Then i go back and the pic is gone and i can't remember what they look like. I end up just deleting the message and not replying at all. |

I get that too, if I read a message at work, think I will reply later and its gone so not really sure I'm that impressed with this idea of removing a pic once the message is read. Now I try not to read messages from new people until I am home |

They only need 1 second to do a screen grab on a phone or laptop.
I don't really get the point of this feature. If you're that worried about who you're sending a pic to then is it worth sending at all?
