Why do our update statuses disappear after only one hour?

Have you been using it to say naughty things? It doesn't appear when using the mobile site, but on the desktop site it says:

"Please don't use current status for promoting websites, spamming (anything that's commercial), naming or shaming, badmouthing people... the usual stuff."

It says 'please', but I think what it means is 'don't you dare, or else!'

I'm on mobile and hardly ever put statuses on to be honest but wouldn't put anything negative or such...if I put up ' having my dinner' it would disappear lol

They're being removed manually by yourself. It may be something weird going on with your browser. What is it you use?
