Mine was an external cam... Usb port.. And i had to have the cam plugged in and running before logging into fabs.. Maybe i just had a crap laptop

Or i had to select which cam in the cam room settings... Pc or usb cam... If that makes sense.

What makes it worse is I've seen other people with the issue and admin have been clueless. I won't be paying anymore till I get a solution

Firstly how can you possibly put the blame onto admin for your actions “I've just had to reinstall windows and flash etc etc” I would suggest that if it worked before then it is most likely an issue with the hardware/ installation and not that of the site.

In order for people to help you, you will need to be more descriptive than “I had to reinstall Windows”

What version of Windows?

What webcam have you got?

Have you installed the drivers for the cam?

You can get them from the installation disk if provided or from the manufactures website.

When you find the solution please post it so others can learn from the problem.

Are you sure the cam drivers are up to date?

Does your cam work in another app?

Have you allowed Fab to access your cam in the cam settings on here?
