Forum Mod O o O oo |
We are on another site which has right click on pics disabled.
One morning we had a shed load of mails telling us that someone had mailed them to say go check out a link on Utube to see a video of us.
It turned out they had robbed most of our pics , put them to music like a slide show with a little caption underneath saying we were looking for couples to swing with.
As you see, people get around the right click option too.
As an aside, we did comment on the video with " Actually we only look for single men not couples, so any single men out there who fancy it get in touch "

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
"my point is re pic collectors, there was a time when you right clicked and saved, the pics were unrecognisable, not now.
we have come accross ours on another site, hence the raw nerve moment...."
Completely understand and sympathise with the raw nerve, but I don't *believe* there was ever a time when right click didn't save the image in all Rugby's glory.... |

REMEMBER!
you don't need anyone to right click you pics to download them, that happens every time you look at someone's pictures!
When you look at a website all the pics text and everything else are downloaded to your pc, then the clever, browser (Internet explorer or Firebox..etc)puts everything back together so you see how the website was designed to look. But if you don't delete all your temp files when you close the browser ANYBODY with access to you computer can see those pics (until your temp folder get written over). So best read how you can stop this with your browser.
So beware that your clever little kiddies can see what mummy and daddy get up to at the weekends |

"its easy to spot the ones who have nicked others pics .....those are the pics that stay small when you click on them.
Is that true??"
Not 100%, no.
People could have nicked big pictures, and people could reduce the size of their pics to prevent right clicking being worthwhile.

What about the ones you click on - and they actually become smaller?
Some pics are just so tiny theres no chance of making out any detail at all |
