I have noticed that a new profile has got a verification from a cpl and it is exactly the same vrrification they got from them 6months or so ago , every word for word just a different date off verifiying , so now i wonder can people copy then paste from old profile and just change the date

You can't change the date on a verification. But if someone has 'saved' a verification they gave someone, they can re-verify a new profile with exactly the same words. I don't think that's a problem (people come and go, and ask old friends to re-verify them)

Ilkeston

People can copy and paste anything they can highlight in a browser, so, yes, they can.

I don't think it matters whether they have met them again, does it? I've re-verified people who I met 3 years ago (cus they took a break from Fab doesn't mean they're not still the same people I met, before!)
