web cam

Hi,

I am using my laptop which has windows 7 on. I have bought a separate webcam to use make Logitech C170 to use instead of the screen cam on my laptop.

When going on to cams now it automatically uses the cam on my screen and not the Logitech one. I have searched on my laptop settings and fab but can not change... Can anyone help ?

Find the camera in there and right click it, tick set as default.

Thanks... I did try that but it doesn't give the option to set as default

So still stuck

right click on your cam window and choose settings. click on the cam icon and then use the drop down list to select the correct cam.

Right click on your own cam (top right) and click the little spanner. This lets you choose which cam to use.
