email notifications

Why does my email notifications only appear about a day or two later? What's the point? Am I the only one or does this happen to everyone?

The whole point of wanting an email notification is so I don't have to keep logging in to check for messages, surely?

I think the problem lies with the Email provider, not Fab. Sometimes mine are instant, other times delayed by up to an hour. I'm with Yahoo.

My email provider is sky and i normally hear within three minutes of a message turning up. maybe try a different email provider

They are sent instantly. Gmail usually works reliably if you want to try another email service

with gmail you can set it to notify you as well, i use it and get maybe 7 - 15 second lag.
