unable to verify someone

I've tried to verify someone twice who has verified me but for some reason it never saves. Not the same I.P adress. I tried to message them but was out of their age range. Could this be why my verification won't go through?

Does anybody know? Thanks

Put a status saying xxxxxx please message me so I can verify you. Hope they see it. Long shot I know.

If you're outside their filters then they can't see your status on the feed.
