No, no-one can edit posts, not even Admin

Forum mods and Admin can close threads in this case, so that a new thread can be started with the correct date on if that helps?

If you want the thread to be closed you can just report it using the little 'report' icon on the opening post and say why you would like it closing.

Not sure if you mean in the forums or adding a meet / event..

Either way, as Jez said above you can't edit once it's on the forum. I also don't see any way to edit a meet / organised event.
