Webcam not working

HI everyone

Ok it used to. So Im using windows 8 and was on mozilla. So Ive done the things suggested downloaded chrome and updated flash according to the chat screen there is a link to the old chat but there isnt. My camera does work otherwise and it looks as if its available (little cam avatar) but people cant see it and I cant see it.

Can anyone help? where is the link top the old chatroom?

by the way, I dont get the option to start webcam though the little icon shows in the list.
