Photo watermarks

Why is it that a lot of photo's on some profiles have no site watermarking?

Are these just too small for the system to mark them?

We ask as it seems a little suspicious when we see profile photos which are no bigger than a thumbnail, even when enlarged, and which have no watermark at all.

If the pic is too small the watermark is too big to fit on so system doesn't watermark it.

Didnt know pic were watermarked at all....never noticed them on mine? lol
