How to show a pic temporarily?

Hi,

I am often asked for face pics which is fine but I would like to show this temporarily. The options I know are as follows:

Have it as a private pic and only send it with messages. This is OK but they will have the pic until they delete the message, if we don’t click then I may not want them to still have my pic.

Or put it in my private gallery for friends but again I may not want to show it to all my friends as some are just online friends and other and actual meet friends.

It there any other way of showing my pic and deciding when and who sees it without it being forever so to speak?

Any advice would be welcome!

Use MSN and use the photo sharing service on it... you choose a photo, comes up in their view and then you stop the sharing.

Unless they do a screen dump of it, the pic doesnt actually get transfered.

Of course, you could just go on web cam and show yourself?

Change how the picture can be shown temporarily........from private only to friends or public.......then change it back to private.

That works depending on how many friends you have, you did say you may not want all your friends to see it, the only way I can think of is to upload the pic to your private gallery when you want someone to view it, invite them, then delete the pic till next time you need it, long way round but at least you dont have to add them to your MSN

To the OP......if you set a pic to private only, you can re set it to either everyone see it or friends only see it. The person you want to see your pic you could add to friends, set it to friends only, let them see it, then set your pic back to private.

Hi everyone and thanks for the help.

MSN is what I have been doing but lots of people say the don’t do MSN and some just think I'm trying to con an email address from them. But some people are happy with this so not all bad.

The other option of a changing a private pit to friends only and then changing it back has the draw back that it shows up on peoples home page. Even when it has been removed it stays on the home page for a while but when people click on it it says picture no longer available so I would still sort of be sharing it with everyone for a while, not just a quick view.

Thanks for the help much appreciated and if there are any other ideas I would be happy to hear them.

What's the concern? They can see your face once, but they can't keep it in case you don't like them?

What if they have a really good memory?
