Always puzzled me too....maybe only desperate buggers run out? Do upgraded members have no limits? I know us platinum members can send millions.

I think the number is low for newbies and then increases after a certain time. As has been said, you need to be going hard at it to break the limit, although I think some Social organisers have legitimately hit the limit in the past.
