On the desktop site, hiding your profile hides the profile front page (the text, pic thumbnails, verifications etc) but leaves the menu down the left active, so your public gallery is still accessible. |

not any more - just noticed about a week late it seems  if you hide profile - public pics cant be seen - not sure if this applies to friends though - maybe someone could see - none of our friends are hidden i dont think |

All photos are now hidden if the profile is hidden.
