If a person is repeatedly setting up multiple profiles in order to harass other users but then deletes the profiles before admin have a chance to act, what action can or should be taken by the harassed users please? |

My fb had that once, in the end she blocked newbies, non verified and eventually decided to block all single males and search herself. Quite sad someone has the time and inclination to do this. |

If you block your target audience then you don't see local updates etc...and as the person could potentially set up a male, female and a couple profile up all at once you'd have to block everyone which shouldn't have to be the case because of one individual's sick little games |

I've blocked newbies and unverified but have had a particular woman name me in her status with a variety of abuse. She has had at least 8 profiles and does this repeatedly and not just to me. Can't fab block an individual IP address? |

I'm guessing they probably can but wouldn't they still be able to get around that by setting up the account on their mobile ? |

Best thing to do is use your filters to block new members and profiles that are not verified. And obviously report the profiles as you have been doing. People who do this usually get bored fairly quickly if you dont give them air-time. |

Yes and most IP addresses are assigned dynamically. Resetting your broadband router may lead to a new IP address. |

You shouldnt have to of course but if its a real problem then maybe creating a new profile yourself (and leaving the old one to take the flack) would help put them off the trail? |
