have you got the latest version of flash player installed?
Failing that, you can download a program called manycam which in theory allow you to use you cam in more than one app at the same time.
Install manycam, configure it so it uses your webcam. When you come to allow fab to have access to your webcam, make sure you tell it to use manycam insteasd of your webcam.
