what actually happens when a site is reported? how do you know if you have been? i would have thought that you get taken down? |

they don't report back on a 121 basis, you report in good faith that things will be looked at.

Admin don't have time to reply to every report but they DO deal with every one |

I had a reply from admin when I reported an issue and I still had problems and they replied again. I guess it depends on the problem. They were amazing when I dealt with them x |

The reported person's profile remains,admin just stop the person who reported the person for whatever reason from being able to see them,but they always get to remain on here.
And if I am correct the person who was reported cannot see the person who reported them either!
But do correct me if I am wrong |

If you report you do it anonymously.
Most reports are just quietly delt with.
I reported someone using my pics and in that case admin did tell me they were looking into it but that was the last I heard from them on it. They took my pics off the offending profile and no doubt warned them though. |

Thats not correct. Admin re_iew all reports that are submitted and depending on what the problem is they deal with reports in different ways. Admin have posted on other threads to say how they deal with them:
******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).
Every single report sent via the REPORT link is re_iewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.
Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:
Your feedback has been saved.
A website admin will shortly re_iew your feedback and take the necessary action. After re_iewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.
By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******

You wont know that youve been reported unless Admin take some sort of action against you.
As it says up there ^^^ a profile isnt automatically disabled by Admin just because someone reports it - it depends on what the report is about and what Admin find when they re_iew it. |
