Can someone help me I thought if you blocked someone they couldn't send a friend request.....yet I received one from someone I blocked yesterday

check they are actually still on your blocklist as you may inadvertently unblocked.

Could also be timing issue the invite could have been sent at same time you blocked but reblock the person.

Yep same happened with me. They were still on my block list at the time

Do not delete the invite, then they can never send another one

When you block someone already on your friends list the site sends a friends request automatically in case you blocked by mistake.

Really, I never knew that. I've blocked people and not received a friends request. I'm sure I've been blocked by others too, (notably the lady who responded to an initial mail with a terse 'fuck off ugly cunt').
