The other day I noticed a lot of my sent messages had been deleted, not by the person I sent them to but from my own file. Today all those which remained have now gone and the sent message file is totally empty. I haven't deleted any of them.
How does this work? |

Thank you. Good idea. Has anyone else experienced anything similar?
I noticed sent messages disappear eventually but I have no idea how long they are supposed to stay in your file for. Is there anyone with an official site explanation? |

Hi, i've just looked on the forum specifically to see if anybody else has had the same problem - and voila!
This is the second time we have had private messages missing from our sent folder!
And also this evening have noticed we had 7 unread inbox messages yesterday and today there's only 3. Neither of us have been online since.. so there's some strange goings on. The first time sent messages disappeared we changed our password straight away. But now its happened again. Quite frustrating.
Did you get to the bottom of this or is it worth contacting admin?

I contacted Admin and all they said was if I think anyone has hacked my account I should change my password. They didn't comment on my questions about whether admin/site delete our emails after a certain time or provide any general info, just the advice to change your password if you think your account has been hacked, plus advice to have malware and not access fab from computers that may not be safe, eg public ones. |
