is it possible to delete a message that has been sent but not read - I mean deleting from their inbox not my sent box

No, though if you have attached a picture you can delete the picture from your album and it will go from the message.

Yeah I was thinking exactly the same yesterday. Minutes after pressing that send I wanted to delete ... Would be a useful feature
