Is it possible to delete a thread you have created? if so how? as I cannot find anything that would allow me to do so.

No it isn't, if it needs removong, go to the original post and press report button and explain why you would like it removed. A forum mod will review it.

yep gotta agree with steveandj but not all mods can do it, you have to find out who of the mods have the facility to do this xxxxx
